This item is a rotor assembly that has been newly re-manufactured with the rotors newly re-coated and precision-timed. Currently, it comes with a FREE Complete Rebuild Kit (an estimated $200 retail value) that includes all the parts needed for the complete service of the supercharger.
Buy this item because the rotor assembly is already professionally re-manufactured for you. Our rotor assembly bearings are retained by an Aluminum plate designed and CNC manufactured specifically for this application by Embree Specialty Machine. This is the only method of bearing retention we trust for our supercharger rebuilding services. Now, you can use this professional, reliable method to completely rebuild your Eaton supercharger yourself, saving you time and money. NO ALUMINUM WELDING REQUIRED. A U.S. Patent has been applied for to protect this bearing retention process from unauthorized use by anyone but the designer of the process or his legal beneficiaries, Patent Pending.
Our rotor assembly is built to the exact same specifications we use when we rebuild a supercharger at Embree Specialty Machine. To assist you in your assembly work, the tolerances are listed in this item description. The bearings and seals used are upgraded from the original part specifications and most importantly, the rotor seals are now a Double-lip Viton.
How does Embree Specialty Machine re-manufacture this Eaton Supercharger Rotor Assembly?
We completely disassemble the rotor assembly plate including removing the old seals and bearings. The bearing plate is carefully measured and paired with a newly recoated pair of rotors. The ESM rotor coating is our exclusive thermal barrier, interference-fit coating, similar to Piston Skirt coating in durability and environment parameters. Our coating is durable in harsh environments found in configurations using nitrous injection systems, methanol or water injection. Then the rotor assembly plate is CNC machined to accomplish correct rotor timing and front rotor-to-bearing plate clearance, set at 0.006" to 0.009" and the mesh is split +/- 0.001" for optimum supercharger operation. Both rotor seals and rotor ball bearing have been replaced.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
If I have a non-supercharged car, can I buy this item and get a complete supercharger head unit with the engine fit kit including everything that is needed to install a supercharger on my vehicle?
No, you will need to provide for exchange, your rotor assembly or pay the core charge. This is not a complete supercharger. Instead this is a kit that contains the components to rebuild a supercharger you already own.
Who and what is this kit designed for?
For the Shop Technician or DIY Do-It-Yourself person, this kit includes the Embree
Specialty Machine Eaton Re-manufactured Rotor Assembly. Get the same Premium Quality bearings and seals used in our ESM Complete Rebuild Service. This item has been designed by our Shop Foreman, based on years of successfully servicing Eaton superchargers to give you the Best Chance at Success (TM) when performing the supercharger rebuild service yourself.
If you decide at any point to have a professional perform this service, send it in. The rotor assembly is correct when it leaves the shop. Damage that occurs after the point where it is packaged for shipment from us, is completely on the mechanical person performing the rebuild service, whether you or your mechanic. No refunds will be given however, if you run into issues, contact us first because we can help.
What can be done to confirm this is the right item for my application?
Send us a message with some cellular phone photos of the supercharger to be serviced.
This is an important first step. The Shop Foreman will require these pictures to identify the supercharger and to help us make sure proper components are sent. There are several variations that must be considered to make sure the drive gear is on the correct side of the rotor assembly and the correct ball bearings are provided. For a list of most compatible vehicles see the compatibility chart.
We are happy to help you make sure you order the right part for the job. If you have ANY DOUBTS about this being the one your application needs, please email us before you purchase this item. Include a cellular phone photo of the one you are replacing, for the Shop Foreman to look at. Also, include the year, make, model and trim level to assist in the identification of the vehicle application.
It is not always easy to be sure what you have because there are so many variations to the Eaton superchargers. With this in mind we want you to know that if the rotor assembly that arrives does not match the one you need to replace, contact us immediately. Do not panic and remember we have offered this because we want to help you get the right parts. We want you to have the right one and will work with you to exchange it when an honest mistake is made. Please help us by making your best effort to be sure which rotor assembly you need before you place your order. It is okay to tell us in your order email that you are not sure what you need. It can really help us to help you if you would email us a photo, and for this cell phone photos work great. We can prevent delays and frustration by looking at your snapshots for 5 minutes instead of all the extra work to exchange the part. Let us help you up front if you aren't 100% sure you know what you have and what you need.
Is this the right kit for a supercharger with a short nose drive?
No. Some superchargers come with short nose drives that need a single double-row ball bearing instead of two single-row ball bearings. If you have one or suspect you have one, you should send us a photo of your short nose drive supercharger because we must know in order to provide the appropriate nose drive ball bearings. We have the appropriate parts and you will want to confirm this with your order so that we can include the correct parts in your kit.
What is the difference between the Eaton M90 and M112 superchargers?
This item is for an Eaton M112 which shares the same bearing plate as an M90 but the M112 rotors are longer. The M90 kits are available through our Store, too. Message us with questions and we can help you determine what item is right for you.
How can the Eaton supercharger model be determined?
With the Gen 1, 2 & 3 Eaton superchargers, this is a simple matter to determine because holding the nose drive on the:
Eaton M45 Gen 3 has 8 bolts
Eaton M62 Gen 3 has 8 bolts
Eaton M90 Gen 3 has 9 bolts
If the supercharger bearing plate you are working on looks way different than this, then just email us some phone pictures and ask our Shop Foreman to assist you in determining the supercharger type you have and what kit you need.
THIS ITEM IS FOR: Eaton M112 Gen4
THIS ITEM IS NOT FOR:
Eaton M45 Gen3
Eaton M45 Gen3 with short nose drive
Eaton M45 Gen4
Eaton M45 Gen5
Eaton M62 Gen3
Eaton M62 Gen4
Eaton M62 Gen5
Eaton M90 Gen3
Eaton M90 Gen4
Eaton M90 Gen5
Eaton M112 Gen5
Eaton M122
Eaton TVS 4-lobe
This kit is NOT for these supercharger model/generations because they use a different rotor assembly bearing plates. Please contact us to get more details about a supercharger rebuild kit for these or other Eaton Models that are not listed here. Contact us 24/7 by email and the Shop Foreman will follow up during normal business hours.
What are the specifications for the ESM Rotor Coating?
Superior, our Rotor Coating is very consistent because it is thickness checked during quality control inspection to ensure even application. Not all rotor coating available in the market is precision checked like ours. We check them so carefully after coating because the rotor assembly will work best and most quietly with proper thickness of rotor coating. You can see that the bearing plate is precision CNC machined to set the ideal tolerances, giving you optimum performance.
What does this supercharger rebuild kit process include?
You, the buyer will have the parts that you need to replace the rear rotor needle bearings, rebuild the nose drive snout and install the rotor assembly yourself.
Technical support from the ESM Shop Foreman is available during normal business hours by contacting us through email. Our main shop phone number is (314)277-7414
What are some important process points that can help with the rebuild process?
- The inside race of the front nose drive ball bearing must be supported when installing the shaft. This means the shaft must be installed before the front nose drive seal is installed because the front nose drive seal will cover the inner race of the front nose drive bearing when the seal is installed. If you do not support the inner race, it will result in installation damage to the ball bearing. A clicking noise in the bearing after installation is a symptom of this.
- Never use ball bearings with dust covers because in this application they are used in an oil bath.
Should a contact phone number be provided by the buyer when the item is ordered or purchased?
Providing a phone number is essential for quality service because we can contact you if there are any questions about your order. Of course we never have time to spam and never share information.
What will the supercharger rebuild process include when using this kit?
You, the buyer will have the parts that you need to replace the rear rotor needle bearings, rebuild the nose drive snout and install the rotor assembly yourself.
We include and recommend using Permatex Anaerobic Gasket Maker (PX#51817 NET .20 FL OZ or PX#51813 NET 1.69 FL OZ) which is designed for Aluminum flanges. Do not get any sealer or any debris in the rotors during installation. Do not use too much sealer or it will squeeze out into the rotors which will damage the supercharger. Completely clean any old sealer off the surfaces you are connecting the supercharger to because leaving the old sealer on the flanges will distort the supercharger housing when bolted together and cause failure. Follow the instructions on the package of the sealer for best results.
What is the tolerance goal for my assembly to work properly?
You will want a minimum gap of 0.006" to 0.010". The gap can be greater than 0.010" however this wide of a gap will allow for air charge leakage. The smaller the gap between the rear housing and the back rotor faces, the tighter the supercharger seal. The rotors should never touch each other or the housing internal bores, anywhere at all.
What Warranty Coverage is included with my purchase?
Our One-Year Warranty and our long-term business reputation will be your peace of mind.

Superior, our precision Thermal Barrier Rotor Coating is very consistent because it is thickness checked during quality control inspection to ensure even application.

For the Shop Technician or DIY Do-It-Yourself person, this kit includes the Embree
Specialty Machine Eaton Re-manufactured Rotor Assembly. Get the same Premium Quality bearings and seals used in our ESM Complete Rebuild Service. There are several variations that must be considered to make sure the drive gear is on the correct side of the rotor assembly and the correct ball bearings are provided. For a list of most compatible vehicles see the compatibility chart.

Wikipedia:
2003
Debuting in the spring of 2002, the 2003 Cobra came with a supercharged, 32-valve DOHC, 4.6-liter V8 engine rated at 390 hp (291 kW) and 390 lb·ft (530 N·m) of torque.[244] Code-named "Terminator" by the SVT development crew led by John Coletti,[245] numerous improvements were made to the powertrain and driveline to handle the power increase from the previous model's set-up. A cast-iron block was used, instead of the previous Teksid aluminum unit, with stronger internals including forged Zolner pistons and Manley H-beam connecting rods that were modified with a wrist pin oiling hole by the SVT engineers.[246] These upgrades were critical in order to support the 8 psi (0.55 bar) of boost delivered from the stock Eaton M-112 roots-type supercharger.[247] Other improvements included the use of a lightweight aluminum flywheel connected to a Tremec T-56 six-speed transmission, 3.55:1 rear axle ratio, and stronger 31-spline halfshafts with revised upper and lower control arms.[248] These modifications enabled the Cobra to go 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and do the quarter mile in 12.67 seconds at 110.11 mph.[249] Although electronically-governed to a top speed of 153 mph, a factory-stock Terminator Cobra can reach a top speed of just under 180 mph if the governor is removed.
The 2003 Cobra boasted visual and functional improvements designed by Camilo Pardo,[250] the chief designer of the 2005–2006 Ford GT supercar.[251] These exterior differences included a new front fascia with an integrated spoiler and front brake air ducts, a new rear fascia with a black insert which visually integrated the exhaust pipes, a composite hood with dual functional air scoops, newly designed side scoops, and foldable sideview mirrors painted in the matching body color.[252] The side skirts were designed specifically for the Terminator Cobra body kit, featuring a smooth body line from the door to the bottom of the car. As a visual departure from the 1999, 2000 and 2001 Cobras (there was no 2002 Cobra model), which featured the Canadian Mustang taillights with separate amber turn signals, the 2003–2004 Cobras used standard red Mustang taillights with integrated turn signals.[253] SVT also introduced new five-spoke 17" x 9" rims, available in standard machined-faced aluminum with metallic argent-painted pockets or optional chrome.[254] Finally, the Terminator Cobra sported a new decklid spoiler with an integrated LED brake light,[255] as opposed to the wing-type spoiler seen on previous Cobras and the standard Mustang V6 and GT models. It was optional to delete the spoiler,[256] and the brake light was then integrated into the decklid using conventional bulbs.
After 2008, the option package adopted many of the options featured from the Platinum trim level, featuring leather seating produced from materials reserved for Harley-Davidson biker jackets.[18] For 2012, the Harley-Davidson Edition was replaced by the Limited trim level.
1993 Ford SVT Lightning
Second-generation Ford SVT LightningIntroduced as a 1993 model, the Ford SVT Lightning is a high-performance version of the F-150 produced by the Ford Special Vehicle Team (SVT).
Intended as a competitor for the Chevrolet 454SS, the SVT Lightning shared much of its structure with the F-150, but extensive modifications were made to the suspension and frame in order to improve the handling. Powered by a 240 hp version of the 5.8L V8, the Lightning used the 4-speed automatic transmission from the F-350 (normally paired with the 7.5L or Diesel V8s).
Though slightly slower than the discontinued GMC Syclone, the Lightning retained much of the towing and payload capacity of its F-150 counterpart.
The Lightning was produced from 1993 to 1995; it was discontinued as Ford began design work on the 1997 F-150.
For 1999, the SVT Lightning returned after a three-year hiatus. As with its 1993-1995 predecessor, the design of the Lightning used the F-150 as a basis with a number of suspension modifications. Instead of a model-specific engine, the Lightning now used the 5.4L engine from the F-150; fitted with a supercharger, it produced 360 hp (increased to 380 hp in 2001). As before, the transmission was borrowed from the F-350 Diesel pickups.
In 2004, the Lightning was discontinued, as it was not included in the redesigned F-150 model line.
