How does Embree Specialty Machine re-manufacture this Eaton Supercharger Rotor Assembly?
We completely disassemble the rotor assembly plate including removing the old seals and bearings. The bearing plate is carefully measured and paired with a newly recoated pair of rotors. The ESM rotor coating is our exclusive thermal barrier, interference-fit coating, similar to Piston Skirt coating in durability and environment parameters. Our coating is durable in harsh environments found in configurations using nitrous injection systems, methanol or water injection. Then the rotor assembly plate is CNC machined to accomplish correct rotor timing and front rotor-to-bearing plate clearance, set at 0.006" to 0.009" and the mesh is split +/- 0.001" for optimum supercharger operation. Both rotor seals and rotor ball bearing have been replaced.

What kit do I purchase if my supercharger has a short nosedrive with a double-row ball bearing?
Short nose drive superchargers use a single double-row ball bearing rather than the Back snout ball bearing & Front snout ball bearing. The photos you provide the Shop Foreman will be used to confirm whether your supercharger has a short nose drive that uses the single double-row ball bearing or the more common nose drive that uses 2 single-row nose drive ball bearings. We have the double-row ball bearing available for an upgrade charge, confirmed with order.

No, you will need to provide for exchange, your rotor assembly or pay the core charge. This is not a complete supercharger. Instead this is a kit that contains the components to rebuild a supercharger you already own.

There are several variations that must be considered to make sure the drive gear is on the correct side of the rotor assembly and the correct ball bearings are provided. Is this the right kit for a supercharger with a short nose drive?
No. Some of the Eaton superchargers come with short nose drives that need a single double-row ball bearing instead of two single-row ball bearings. If you have one or suspect you have one, you should send us a photo of your short nose drive supercharger because we must know in order to provide the appropriate nose drive ball bearings. We have the appropriate parts and you will want to confirm this with your order so that we can include the correct parts in your kit.
What is the difference between the Eaton M45 and M62 superchargers?
This eBay item is for an Eaton M45 which shares the same bearing plate as an M62 but the M62 rotors are longer. The M45 kits are available through our eBay Store, too. Message us with questions and we can help you determine what item is right for you.
How can the Eaton supercharger model be determined?

What are the specifications for the ESM Rotor Coating?
Superior, our Rotor Coating is very consistent because it is thickness checked during quality control inspection to ensure even application. Not all rotor coating available in the market is precision checked like ours. We check them so carefully after coating because the rotor assembly will work best and most quietly with proper thickness of rotor coating. You can see that the bearing plate is precision CNC machined to set the ideal tolerances, giving you optimum performance.

You, the buyer will have the parts that you need to replace the rear rotor needle bearings, rebuild the nose drive snout and install the rotor assembly yourself.

What are some important process points that can help with the rebuild process?
- The inside race of the front nose drive ball bearing must be supported when installing the shaft. This means the shaft must be installed before the front nose drive seal is installed because the front nose drive seal will cover the inner race of the front nose drive bearing when the seal is installed. If you do not support the inner race, it will result in installation damage to the ball bearing. A clicking noise in the bearing after installation is a symptom of this.
- Never use ball bearings with dust covers because in this application they are used in an oil bath.

What will the supercharger rebuild process include when using this kit?
You, the buyer will have the parts that you need to replace the rear rotor needle bearings, rebuild the nose drive snout and install the rotor assembly yourself. After the rotor pack is installed, you need to check rear rotor clearance.
We recommend using Permatex Anaerobic Gasket Maker (PX#51817 NET .20 FL OZ or PX#51813 NET 1.69 FL OZ) which is designed for Aluminum flanges, available at some auto parts stores. Do not get any sealer or any debris in the rotors during installation. Do not use too much sealer or it will squeeze out into the rotors which will damage the supercharger. Completely clean any old sealer off the surfaces you are connecting the supercharger to because leaving the old sealer on the flanges will distort the supercharger housing when bolted together and cause failure. Follow the instructions on the package of the sealer for best results.
What is the tolerance goal for my assembly to work properly?
You will want a minimum gap of 0.006" to 0.010". The gap can be greater than 0.010" however this wide of a gap will allow for air charge leakage. The smaller the gap between the rear housing and the back rotor faces, the tighter the supercharger seal. The rotors should never touch each other or the housing internal bores, anywhere at all.

Here are a few details that may help you identify the supercharger you have.
The later Eaton M62 Gen4 TRD supercharger is usually painted black instead of grey. The upper intake manifold is cast on to the supercharger housing. The earlier version had a bolt on removable upper intake manifold and was Alpine Grey or tan.
With the Gen 1, 2 & 3 Eaton superchargers, this is a simple matter to determine because the Eaton M90 Gen 3 has 9 bolts holding the Snout on. The M45 Gen 3 and M62 Gen 3 only have 8 bolts.

What is done to the Embree Specialty Machine's newly re-manufactured Eaton Supercharger Rotor Assembly?
We completely disassemble the rotor assembly plate including removing the old seals and bearings. The bearing plate is carefully measured and paired with a newly re-coated pair of rotors. The rotor coating is our special, exclusive interference-fit rotor coating, similar to Piston Skirt coating in durability and environment parameters. Our coating is durable in harsh environments found in configurations using nitrous injection systems, methanol or water injection. Then the rotor assembly plate is CNC machined to accomplish correct rotor timing and front rotor-to-bearing plate clearance, set at 0.006" to 0.009" and the mesh is split +/- 0.001" for optimum supercharger operation. Both rotor seals and rotor ball bearing have been replaced.

What will the supercharger rebuild process include when using this kit?
You, the buyer will have the parts that you need to replace the rear rotor needle bearings, rebuild the nose drive snout and install the rotor assembly yourself.
We recommend using Permatex Anaerobic Gasket Maker (PX#51817 NET .20 FL OZ or PX#51813 NET 1.69 FL OZ) which is designed for Aluminum flanges, available at some auto parts stores. Do not get any sealer or any debris in the rotors during installation. Do not use too much sealer or it will squeeze out into the rotors which will damage the supercharger. Completely clean any old sealer off the surfaces you are connecting the supercharger to because leaving the old sealer on the flanges will distort the supercharger housing when bolted together and cause failure. Follow the instructions on the package of the sealer for best results.
What is the tolerance goal for my assembly to work properly?
You will want a minimum gap of 0.006" to 0.010". The gap can be greater than 0.010" however this wide of a gap will allow for air charge leakage. The smaller the gap between the rear housing and the back rotor faces, the tighter the supercharger seal. The rotors should never touch each other or the housing internal bores, anywhere at all.

Is this the right kit for a supercharger with a short nose drive?
No. Some of the M90 superchargers come with short nose drives that need a single double-row ball bearing instead of two single-row ball bearings. If you have one or suspect you have one, you should send us a photo of your short nose drive supercharger because we must know in order to provide the appropriate nose drive ball bearings. We have the appropriate parts and you will want to confirm this with your order so that we can include the correct parts in your kit.
What is the difference between the Eaton M90 and M112 superchargers?
This eBay item is for an Eaton M90 which shares the same bearing plate as an M112 but the M112 rotors are longer. The M112 kits are available through our Store, too. Message us with questions and we can help you determine what item is right for you.
How can the Eaton supercharger model be determined?
With the Gen 1, 2 & 3 Eaton superchargers, this is a simple matter to determine because holding the nose drive on the:

Superior, our Rotor Coating is very consistent because it is thickness checked during quality control inspection to ensure even application. Not all rotor coating available in the market is precision checked like ours. We check them so carefully after coating because the rotor assembly will work best and most quietly with proper thickness of rotor coating. You can see that the bearing plate is precision CNC machined to set the ideal tolerances, giving you optimum performance.

What are some important process points that can help with the rebuild process?
- The inside race of the front nose drive ball bearing must be supported when installing the shaft. This means the shaft must be installed before the front nose drive seal is installed because the front nose drive seal will cover the inner race of the front nose drive bearing when the seal is installed. If you do not support the inner race, it will result in installation damage to the ball bearing. A clicking noise in the bearing after installation is a symptom of this.
- Never use ball bearings with dust covers because in this application they are used in an oil bath.
- After the rotor pack is installed, you need to check rear rotor clearance. Use our included exclusive ESM Rotor timing shim kit to check your assembly.

What will the supercharger rebuild process include when using this kit?

We recommend using Permatex Anaerobic Gasket Maker (PX#51817 NET .20 FL OZ or PX#51813 NET 1.69 FL OZ) which is designed for Aluminum flanges, available at some auto parts stores. Do not get any sealer or any debris in the rotors during installation. Do not use too much sealer or it will squeeze out into the rotors which will damage the supercharger. Completely clean any old sealer off the surfaces you are connecting the supercharger to because leaving the old sealer on the flanges will distort the supercharger housing when bolted together and cause failure. Follow the instructions on the package of the sealer for best results.
What is the tolerance goal for my assembly to work properly?
You will want a minimum gap of 0.006" to 0.010". The gap can be greater than 0.010" however this wide of a gap will allow for air charge leakage. The smaller the gap between the rear housing and the back rotor faces, the tighter the supercharger seal. The rotors should never touch each other or the housing internal bores, anywhere at all.

What is done to the Embree Specialty Machine's newly re-manufactured Eaton Supercharger Rotor Assembly?
We completely disassemble the rotor assembly plate including removing the old seals and bearings. The bearing plate is carefully measured and paired with a newly re-coated pair of rotors. The ESM rotor coating is our special, exclusive interference-fit rotor coating, similar to Piston Skirt coating in durability and environment parameters. Our coating is durable in harsh environments found in configurations using nitrous injection systems, methanol or water injection. Then the rotor assembly plate is CNC machined to accomplish correct rotor timing and front rotor-to-bearing plate clearance, set at 0.006" to 0.009" and the mesh is split +/- 0.001" for optimum supercharger operation. Both rotor seals and rotor ball bearing have been replaced.

The supercharged version of the AJ26 is used in the high-performance R versions of Jaguar's cars. The engine was updated with AJ27 specifications for 2000. It produces 375 hp (280 kW) and 387 lb⋅ft (525 N⋅m) with the help of an Eaton supercharger (modified Roots-blower). The supercharged engine did not use variable cam timing as the normal benefits of improved volumetric efficiency are not noticeable on a boosted engine

Our coating is durable in harsh environments found in configurations using nitrous injection systems, methanol or water injection. Then the rotor assembly plate is CNC machined to accomplish correct rotor timing and front rotor-to-bearing plate clearance, set at 0.006" to 0.009" and the mesh is split +/- 0.001" for optimum supercharger operation. Both rotor seals and rotor ball bearing have been replaced.

There are several variations that must be considered to make sure the drive gear is on the correct side of the rotor assembly and the correct ball bearings are provided. Is this the right kit for a supercharger with a short nose drive?
No. Some superchargers come with short nose drives that need a single double-row ball bearing instead of two single-row ball bearings. If you have one or suspect you have one, you should send us a photo of your short nose drive supercharger because we must know in order to provide the appropriate nose drive ball bearings. We have the appropriate parts and you will want to confirm this with your order so that we can include the correct parts in your kit.
What is the difference between the Eaton M90 and M112 superchargers?
This item is for an Eaton M112 which shares the same bearing plate as an M90 but the M112 rotors are longer. The M90 kits are available, too. Message us with questions and we can help you determine what item is right for you.
How can the Eaton supercharger model be determined?
With the Gen 1, 2 & 3 Eaton superchargers, this is a simple matter to determine because holding the nose drive on the:

What are the specifications for the ESM Rotor Coating?
Superior, our Rotor Coating is very consistent because it is thickness checked during quality control inspection to ensure even application. Not all rotor coating available in the market is precision checked like ours. We check them so carefully after coating because the rotor assembly will work best and most quietly with proper thickness of rotor coating. You can see that the bearing plate is precision CNC machined to set the ideal tolerances, giving you optimum performance.

You, the buyer will have the parts that you need to replace the rear rotor needle bearings, rebuild the nose drive snout and install the rotor assembly yourself.

What are some important process points that can help with the rebuild process?
- The inside race of the front nose drive ball bearing must be supported when installing the shaft. This means the shaft must be installed before the front nose drive seal is installed because the front nose drive seal will cover the inner race of the front nose drive bearing when the seal is installed. If you do not support the inner race, it will result in installation damage to the ball bearing. A clicking noise in the bearing after installation is a symptom of this.
- Never use ball bearings with dust covers because in this application they are used in an oil bath.

What will the supercharger rebuild process include when using this kit?
You, the buyer will have the parts that you need to replace the rear rotor needle bearings, rebuild the nose drive snout and install the rotor assembly yourself.
We include and recommend using Permatex Anaerobic Gasket Maker (PX#51817 NET .20 FL OZ or PX#51813 NET 1.69 FL OZ) which is designed for Aluminum flanges. Do not get any sealer or any debris in the rotors during installation. Do not use too much sealer or it will squeeze out into the rotors which will damage the supercharger. Completely clean any old sealer off the surfaces you are connecting the supercharger to because leaving the old sealer on the flanges will distort the supercharger housing when bolted together and cause failure. Follow the instructions on the package of the sealer for best results.
What is the tolerance goal for my assembly to work properly?
You will want a minimum gap of 0.006" to 0.010". The gap can be greater than 0.010" however this wide of a gap will allow for air charge leakage. The smaller the gap between the rear housing and the back rotor faces, the tighter the supercharger seal. The rotors should never touch each other or the housing internal bores, anywhere at all.

Our rotor assembly is built to the exact same specifications we use when we rebuild a supercharger at Embree Specialty Machine. To assist you in your assembly work, the tolerances are listed in this item description. The bearings and seals used are upgraded from the original part specifications and most importantly, the rotor seals are now a Double-lip Viton.
How does Embree Specialty Machine re-manufacture this Eaton Supercharger Rotor Assembly?
We completely disassemble the rotor assembly plate including removing the old seals and bearings. The bearing plate is carefully measured and paired with a newly recoated pair of rotors. The ESM rotor coating is our exclusive thermal barrier, interference-fit coating, similar to Piston Skirt coating in durability and environment parameters. Our coating is durable in harsh environments found in configurations using nitrous injection systems, methanol or water injection. Then the rotor assembly plate is CNC machined to accomplish correct rotor timing and front rotor-to-bearing plate clearance, set at 0.006" to 0.009" and the mesh is split +/- 0.001" for optimum supercharger operation. Both rotor seals and rotor ball bearing have been replaced.

What kit do I purchase if my supercharger has a short nosedrive with a double-row ball bearing?
Short nose drive superchargers use a single double-row ball bearing rather than the Back snout ball bearing & Front snout ball bearing. The photos you provide the Shop Foreman will be used to confirm whether your supercharger has a short nose drive that uses the single double-row ball bearing or the more common nose drive that uses 2 single-row nose drive ball bearings. We have the double-row ball bearing available for an upgrade charge, confirmed with order.

Is this the right kit for a supercharger with a short nose drive?
No. Some of the M45 superchargers come with short nose drives that need a single double-row ball bearing instead of two single-row ball bearings. If you have one or suspect you have one, you should send us a photo of your short nose drive supercharger because we must know in order to provide the appropriate nose drive ball bearings. We have the appropriate parts and you will want to confirm this with your order so that we can include the correct parts in your kit.
What is the difference between the Eaton M45 and M62 superchargers?
This eBay item is for an Eaton M45 which shares the same bearing plate as an M62 but the M62 rotors are longer. The M62 kits are available through our eBay Store, too. Message us with questions and we can help you determine what item is right for you.
How can the Eaton supercharger model be determined?

What are the specifications for the ESM Rotor Coating?
Superior, our Rotor Coating is very consistent because it is thickness checked during quality control inspection to ensure even application. Not all rotor coating available in the market is precision checked like ours. We check them so carefully after coating because the rotor assembly will work best and most quietly with proper thickness of rotor coating. You can see that the bearing plate is precision CNC machined to set the ideal tolerances, giving you optimum performance.

You, the buyer will have the parts that you need to replace the rear rotor needle bearings, rebuild the nose drive snout and install the rotor assembly yourself.

What are some important process points that can help with the rebuild process?
- The inside race of the front nose drive ball bearing must be supported when installing the shaft. This means the shaft must be installed before the front nose drive seal is installed because the front nose drive seal will cover the inner race of the front nose drive bearing when the seal is installed. If you do not support the inner race, it will result in installation damage to the ball bearing. A clicking noise in the bearing after installation is a symptom of this.
- Never use ball bearings with dust covers because in this application they are used in an oil bath.
- After the rotor pack is installed, you need to check rear rotor clearance. Use our included exclusive ESM Rotor timing shim kit to check your assembly.

What will the supercharger rebuild process include when using this kit?
You, the buyer will have the parts that you need to replace the rear rotor needle bearings, rebuild the nose drive snout and install the rotor assembly yourself. After the rotor pack is installed, you need to check rear rotor clearance. Use our included exclusive ESM Rotor timing shim kit to check your assembly.
We recommend using Permatex Anaerobic Gasket Maker (PX#51817 NET .20 FL OZ or PX#51813 NET 1.69 FL OZ) which is designed for Aluminum flanges, available at some auto parts stores. Do not get any sealer or any debris in the rotors during installation. Do not use too much sealer or it will squeeze out into the rotors which will damage the supercharger. Completely clean any old sealer off the surfaces you are connecting the supercharger to because leaving the old sealer on the flanges will distort the supercharger housing when bolted together and cause failure. Follow the instructions on the package of the sealer for best results.
What is the tolerance goal for my assembly to work properly?
You will want a minimum gap of 0.006" to 0.010". The gap can be greater than 0.010" however this wide of a gap will allow for air charge leakage. The smaller the gap between the rear housing and the back rotor faces, the tighter the supercharger seal. The rotors should never touch each other or the housing internal bores, anywhere at all.

We completely disassemble the rotor assembly plate including removing the old seals and bearings. The bearing plate is carefully measured and paired with a newly recoated pair of rotors. The rotor coating is our exclusive thermal barrier, interference-fit coating, similar to Piston Skirt coating in durability and environment parameters. Our coating is durable in harsh environments found in configurations using nitrous injection systems, methanol or water injection. Then the rotor assembly plate is CNC machined to accomplish correct rotor timing and front rotor-to-bearing plate clearance, set at 0.006" to 0.009" and the mesh is split +/- 0.001" for optimum supercharger operation. Both rotor seals and rotor ball bearing have been replaced.

What kit do I purchase if my supercharger has a short nosedrive with a double-row ball bearing?
Short nose drive superchargers use a single double-row ball bearing rather than the Back snout ball bearing & Front snout ball bearing. The photos you provide the Shop Foreman will be used to confirm whether your supercharger has a short nose drive that uses the single double-row ball bearing or the more common nose drive that uses 2 single-row nose drive ball bearings. We have the double-row ball bearing available for an upgrade charge, confirmed with order.

Is this the right kit for a supercharger with a short nose drive?
No. Some of the Eaton superchargers come with short nose drives that need a single double-row ball bearing instead of two single-row ball bearings. If you have one or suspect you have one, you should send us a photo of your short nose drive supercharger because we must know in order to provide the appropriate nose drive ball bearings. We have the appropriate parts and you will want to confirm this with your order so that we can include the correct parts in your kit.
What is the difference between the Eaton M45 and M62 superchargers?
This eBay item is for an Eaton M45 which shares the same bearing plate as an M62 but the M62 rotors are longer. The M45 kits are available through our eBay Store, too. Message us with questions and we can help you determine what item is right for you.

What are the specifications for the Rotor Coating?
Superior, our Rotor Coating is very consistent because it is thickness checked during quality control inspection to ensure even application. Not all rotor coating available in the market is precision checked like ours. We check them so carefully after coating because the rotor assembly will work best and most quietly with proper thickness of rotor coating. You can see that the bearing plate is precision CNC machined to set the ideal tolerances, giving you optimum performance.

What are some important process points that can help with the rebuild process?
- The inside race of the front nose drive ball bearing must be supported when installing the shaft. This means the shaft must be installed before the front nose drive seal is installed because the front nose drive seal will cover the inner race of the front nose drive bearing when the seal is installed. If you do not support the inner race, it will result in installation damage to the ball bearing. A clicking noise in the bearing after installation is a symptom of this.
- Never use ball bearings with dust covers because in this application they are used in an oil bath.

What will the supercharger rebuild process include when using this kit?
You, the buyer will have the parts that you need to replace the rear rotor needle bearings, rebuild the nose drive snout and install the rotor assembly yourself. After the rotor pack is installed, you need to check rear rotor clearance.
We recommend using Permatex Anaerobic Gasket Maker (PX#51817 NET .20 FL OZ or PX#51813 NET 1.69 FL OZ) which is designed for Aluminum flanges, available at some auto parts stores. Do not get any sealer or any debris in the rotors during installation. Do not use too much sealer or it will squeeze out into the rotors which will damage the supercharger. Completely clean any old sealer off the surfaces you are connecting the supercharger to because leaving the old sealer on the flanges will distort the supercharger housing when bolted together and cause failure. Follow the instructions on the package of the sealer for best results.
What is the tolerance goal for my assembly to work properly?
You will want a minimum gap of 0.006" to 0.010". The gap can be greater than 0.010" however this wide of a gap will allow for air charge leakage. The smaller the gap between the rear housing and the back rotor faces, the tighter the supercharger seal. The rotors should never touch each other or the housing internal bores, anywhere at all.

The later Eaton M62 Gen4 TRD supercharger is usually painted black instead of grey. The upper intake manifold is cast on to the supercharger housing. The earlier version had a bolt on removable upper intake manifold and was Alpine Grey or tan.
With the Gen 1, 2 & 3 Eaton superchargers, this is a simple matter to determine because the Eaton M90 Gen 3 has 9 bolts holding the Snout on. The M45 Gen 3 and M62 Gen 3 only have 8 bolts.

How does Embree Specialty Machine re-manufacture this Eaton Supercharger Rotor Assembly?
We completely disassemble the rotor assembly plate including removing the old seals and bearings. The bearing plate is carefully measured and paired with a newly recoated pair of rotors. The ESM rotor coating is our exclusive thermal barrier, interference-fit coating, similar to Piston Skirt coating in durability and environment parameters. Our coating is durable in harsh environments found in configurations using nitrous injection systems, methanol or water injection. Then the rotor assembly plate is CNC machined to accomplish correct rotor timing and front rotor-to-bearing plate clearance, set at 0.006" to 0.009" and the mesh is split +/- 0.001" for optimum supercharger operation. Both rotor seals and rotor ball bearing have been replaced.

What kit do I purchase if my supercharger has a short nosedrive with a double-row ball bearing?
Short nose drive superchargers use a single double-row ball bearing rather than the Back snout ball bearing & Front snout ball bearing. The photos you provide the Shop Foreman will be used to confirm whether your supercharger has a short nose drive that uses the single double-row ball bearing or the more common nose drive that uses 2 single-row nose drive ball bearings. We have the double-row ball bearing available for an upgrade charge, confirmed with order.

Is this the right kit for a supercharger with a short nose drive?
No. Some of the Eaton superchargers come with short nose drives that need a single double-row ball bearing instead of two single-row ball bearings. If you have one or suspect you have one, you should send us a photo of your short nose drive supercharger because we must know in order to provide the appropriate nose drive ball bearings. We have the appropriate parts and you will want to confirm this with your order so that we can include the correct parts in your kit.
What is the difference between the Eaton M45 and M62 superchargers?
This eBay item is for an Eaton M45 which shares the same bearing plate as an M62 but the M62 rotors are longer. The M45 kits are available through our eBay Store, too. Message us with questions and we can help you determine what item is right for you.

What are the specifications for the ESM Rotor Coating?
Superior, our Rotor Coating is very consistent because it is thickness checked during quality control inspection to ensure even application. Not all rotor coating available in the market is precision checked like ours. We check them so carefully after coating because the rotor assembly will work best and most quietly with proper thickness of rotor coating. You can see that the bearing plate is precision CNC machined to set the ideal tolerances, giving you optimum performance.

You, the buyer will have the parts that you need to replace the rear rotor needle bearings, rebuild the nose drive snout and install the rotor assembly yourself.

What are some important process points that can help with the rebuild process?
- The inside race of the front nose drive ball bearing must be supported when installing the shaft. This means the shaft must be installed before the front nose drive seal is installed because the front nose drive seal will cover the inner race of the front nose drive bearing when the seal is installed. If you do not support the inner race, it will result in installation damage to the ball bearing. A clicking noise in the bearing after installation is a symptom of this.
- Never use ball bearings with dust covers because in this application they are used in an oil bath.

What will the supercharger rebuild process include when using this kit?
You, the buyer will have the parts that you need to replace the rear rotor needle bearings, rebuild the nose drive snout and install the rotor assembly yourself. After the rotor pack is installed, you need to check rear rotor clearance.
We recommend using Permatex Anaerobic Gasket Maker (PX#51817 NET .20 FL OZ or PX#51813 NET 1.69 FL OZ) which is designed for Aluminum flanges, available at some auto parts stores. Do not get any sealer or any debris in the rotors during installation. Do not use too much sealer or it will squeeze out into the rotors which will damage the supercharger. Completely clean any old sealer off the surfaces you are connecting the supercharger to because leaving the old sealer on the flanges will distort the supercharger housing when bolted together and cause failure. Follow the instructions on the package of the sealer for best results.
What is the tolerance goal for my assembly to work properly?
You will want a minimum gap of 0.006" to 0.010". The gap can be greater than 0.010" however this wide of a gap will allow for air charge leakage. The smaller the gap between the rear housing and the back rotor faces, the tighter the supercharger seal. The rotors should never touch each other or the housing internal bores, anywhere at all.

Here are a few details that may help you identify the supercharger you have.
The later Eaton M90 Gen5 TRD supercharger is usually painted Black instead of Alpine Grey. The upper and lower intake manifold is cast on to the supercharger housing. The nose drive has part of the intake runner cast onto it with a large TRD in raised letters.
The Eaton M90 Gen5 has 8 bolts in the Nosedrive bolt circle. With the Gen 1, 2 & 3 Eaton superchargers, this is a simple matter to determine because the Eaton M90 Gen3 has 9 bolts holding the Snout on. The M45 Gen3 and M62 Gen3 only have 8 bolts.

What is done to the Embree Specialty Machine's newly re-manufactured Eaton Supercharger Rotor Assembly?
We completely disassemble the rotor assembly plate including removing the old seals and bearings. The bearing plate is carefully measured and paired with a newly re-coated pair of rotors. The ESM rotor coating is our special, exclusive interference-fit rotor coating, similar to Piston Skirt coating in durability and environment parameters. Our coating is durable in harsh environments found in configurations using nitrous injection systems, methanol or water injection. Then the rotor assembly plate is CNC machined to accomplish correct rotor timing and front rotor-to-bearing plate clearance, set at 0.006" to 0.009" and the mesh is split +/- 0.001" for optimum supercharger operation. Both rotor seals and rotor ball bearing have been replaced.

What will the supercharger rebuild process include when using this kit?
You, the buyer will have the parts that you need to replace the rear rotor needle bearings, rebuild the nose drive snout and install the rotor assembly yourself.
We recommend using Permatex Anaerobic Gasket Maker (PX#51817 NET .20 FL OZ or PX#51813 NET 1.69 FL OZ) which is designed for Aluminum flanges, available at some auto parts stores. Do not get any sealer or any debris in the rotors during installation. Do not use too much sealer or it will squeeze out into the rotors which will damage the supercharger. Completely clean any old sealer off the surfaces you are connecting the supercharger to because leaving the old sealer on the flanges will distort the supercharger housing when bolted together and cause failure. Follow the instructions on the package of the sealer for best results.
What is the tolerance goal for my assembly to work properly?
You will want a minimum gap of 0.006" to 0.010". The gap can be greater than 0.010" however this wide of a gap will allow for air charge leakage. The smaller the gap between the rear housing and the back rotor faces, the tighter the supercharger seal. The rotors should never touch each other or the housing internal bores, anywhere at all.

The supercharged version of the AJ26 is used in the high-performance R versions of Jaguar's cars. The engine was updated with AJ27 specifications for 2000. Is this the right kit for a supercharger with a short nose drive?
No. Some superchargers come with short nose drives that need a single double-row ball bearing instead of two single-row ball bearings. If you have one or suspect you have one, you should send us a photo of your short nose drive supercharger because we must know in order to provide the appropriate nose drive ball bearings. We have the appropriate parts and you will want to confirm this with your order so that we can include the correct parts in your kit.
What is the difference between the Eaton M90 and M112 superchargers?

What are the specifications for the ESM Rotor Coating?
Superior, our Rotor Coating is very consistent because it is thickness checked during quality control inspection to ensure even application. Not all rotor coating available in the market is precision checked like ours. We check them so carefully after coating because the rotor assembly will work best and most quietly with proper thickness of rotor coating. You can see that the bearing plate is precision CNC machined to set the ideal tolerances, giving you optimum performance.
What does this supercharger rebuild kit process include?
You, the buyer will have the parts that you need to replace the rear rotor needle bearings, rebuild the nose drive snout and install the rotor assembly yourself.

What are some important process points that can help with the rebuild process?
- The inside race of the front nose drive ball bearing must be supported when installing the shaft. This means the shaft must be installed before the front nose drive seal is installed because the front nose drive seal will cover the inner race of the front nose drive bearing when the seal is installed. If you do not support the inner race, it will result in installation damage to the ball bearing. A clicking noise in the bearing after installation is a symptom of this.
- Never use ball bearings with dust covers because in this application they are used in an oil bath.

What will the supercharger rebuild process include when using this kit?
You, the buyer will have the parts that you need to replace the rear rotor needle bearings, rebuild the nose drive snout and install the rotor assembly yourself.
We include and recommend using Permatex Anaerobic Gasket Maker (PX#51817 NET .20 FL OZ or PX#51813 NET 1.69 FL OZ) which is designed for Aluminum flanges. Do not get any sealer or any debris in the rotors during installation. Do not use too much sealer or it will squeeze out into the rotors which will damage the supercharger. Completely clean any old sealer off the surfaces you are connecting the supercharger to because leaving the old sealer on the flanges will distort the supercharger housing when bolted together and cause failure. Follow the instructions on the package of the sealer for best results.
What is the tolerance goal for my assembly to work properly?
You will want a minimum gap of 0.006" to 0.010". The gap can be greater than 0.010" however this wide of a gap will allow for air charge leakage. The smaller the gap between the rear housing and the back rotor faces, the tighter the supercharger seal. The rotors should never touch each other or the housing internal bores, anywhere at all.

Purchase this item which includes a $550 core charge. The new item will go out as soon as possible and before your core is received. You can keep your core if you prefer. We hope to encourage you to return the core by including a core charge. If you would like to send it in for a refund of the core charge, return ship it back to us within 15 days of receipt of the item. The cost of return shipping is always the buyer's responsibility so ship as cheaply as possible. The box our kit is sent to you in is built tough enough that you can use it to return your used rotor assembly core. So there is no need for you to round up a box and packing material. We want this to be easy for you. After you ship it, email me a tracking number to help identify yours by alerting us to its return. The core charge will be refunded immediately following the Shop Foreman's inspection check in of the returned core, normally 5-10 business days depending upon the shop load when the core is received. Damage can affect the core refund if it makes the core parts unusable for the next customer. See choice (B) to understand your options.
CHOICE (B):
To avoid the core charge, you purchase this item without adding a $550 core charge and would then ship your core immediately. Shortly after our receipt of the core, we will ship the new item out. In this way, we can help you avoid the core charge while continuing to keep costs low for everyone. The core rotor assembly you provide for rebuild will need to be rebuildable condition. If not, it may be necessary to replace the core parts and this would be billed separately as needed.
